Perishable Items:

We do not recommend shipping perishables via UPS Ground.  We understand that some customers may desire to use ground shipping as a cost saving measure.  Therefore we allow UPS Ground  as a shipping option during specified times of the year. Pet and Kennel Supply strongly advises against using UPS Ground to ship perishable products. However, due to the nature of shipping perishables, we accept no liability for the condition upon delivery of perishable items.

Please be assured that we use the highest quality insulated shipping cartons and shipping refrigerants. Refrigerant quantity is adjusted based on the time of year and shipping address.  Vaccine that when placed on your cheek is "cool to the touch" is perfectly fine.

Depending upon the time of the year, available shipping methods will vary between the following:

  • UPS GROUND, UPS 2nd Day Air or UPS Next Day Air   (Available September 16 to May 31)
  • UPS 2nd Day Air or UPS Next Day Air (Required June 1 to September 15)  (hot months require faster shipping.)

Orders that contain perishable items do not in any way quality for free shipping.

We do not ship perishable items on Thursday or Friday for any reason.  We only ship perishable items on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.  This is to ensure to our customers that if there is any delay in the shipping process that the perishable product does not sit over the weekend prior to delivery.

For the safety of your animals, we do not accept any returns on perishable items.

We do not accept any liability for items that are slow to deliver..

All claims for damaged or slow to deliver perishable items are the responsibility of the customer. Please file your claim with United Parcel Service

Return Policy:

If you wish to return a product, you need to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization ("RMA") number. Such RMA number is good for 10 days and must be written on the outside of the returning package. No returns will be accepted without an RMA number. All returned products must be in the same condition that they were received and in the original packaging. Please hold on to all packaging, instruction manuals, etc. until you are sure that you are happy with the products you have purchased.

It is recommended that you use a shipping method that requires a signature for proof of delivery.
Please note that return shipping charges are not included in the credit and it is your responsibility to pay for return shipping.

Returned product is subject to a 25% restocking fee. Returns/exchanges may take up to 6 weeks for processing and may be issued credit on account.

Return shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer. Any damage done to the product by the user will be deducted from the return. Please note, once a product has shipped it is considered a complete sale. If you decide you want to cancel your order after the item has shipped you will be charged the shipping. After you refuse the item(s) and we receive the product back, your credit card will be credited the full amount minus the shipping. Some products may be subject to an additional 25% restocking fee.


Prescription Items:

These Items require a prescription from a licensed veterinarian prior to being shipped to the customer.  There are no returns allowed for prescription products.

Pharmacy Laws

A prescription must contain the following information prior to being filled at a pharmacy.
  1. Name of owner
  2. Name and species of the animal
  3. Name of drug
  4. Strength of the drug
  5. Dosage form of the drug
  6. Quantity of the drug
  7. Directions of use
  8. Date of issuance
  9. Vet’s name with signature and state license number
  10. Number of refills authorized

A prescription may be transmitted by facsimile (fax) to the pharmacy only by the prescribing veterinarian. The prescription can not be faxed to the pharmacy by the owner of the animal. The owner may obtain the original prescription from the vet and mail it in.

Federal (U.S.A.) law restricts the use of Rx drugs to be used by, or on the order of, a licensed Veterinarian.

Please Note: Due to federal and state law, we cannot accept returns of prescription medications, so please make your selections carefully.

The receipt of an order number or an email order confirmation does not constitute the acceptance of an order or a confirmation of an offer to sell. Midwest Greyhound Supply, Inc. reserves the right, without prior notification, to limit the order quantity on any item and/or to refuse service to any customer. Verification of information may be required prior to the acceptance of an order. Prices and availability of products on the Site are subject to change without notice. Errors will be corrected when discovered and Midwest Greyhound Supply, Inc. reserves the right to revoke any stated offer and to correct any error, inaccuracy, or omission (including after an order has been submitted). Certain orders constitute improper use of the Site. Midwest Greyhound Supply, Inc. reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to refuse or cancel any order for any reason. Your account may also be restricted or terminated for any reason, at Midwest Greyhound Supply, Inc.'s sole discretion.
